It’s been a busy few weeks! The Flooring team at Kilworth recently wrapped up a major refurbishment at Leycester House Nursing Home in Warwick, breathing new life into key communal spaces—all while the facility remained open and fully operational.
The project kicked off with a facelift for the reception and bistro bar area. Working hand in hand with other trades, the team tackled everything from crack repairs and prepping the subfloor with Stopgap 1200 to installing new transition strips. The finishing touch? A combination of Karndean Commercial’s Knight Tile with contrast feature strips and Opus Niveus LVT, chosen for both style and durability, to complement the newly installed bar.
Staying perfectly on schedule, the crew moved straight on to revamping the ground floor corridors. For these high-traffic areas, they opted for Danfloor’s Evolve range, ensuring the corridors are both practical and inviting.

Throughout the refurbishment, the focus was on delivering quality workmanship with minimal disruption to residents and staff. The team credits seamless collaboration with Berkley Care Group, Leycester House staff, and fellow trades for the smooth process.
As always, we couldn’t have completed the job without our trusted suppliers—Karndean, Polyflor, F Ball, Ardex, and Danfloor—whose products helped bring the project vision to life.
With the final touches in place, everyone’s looking forward to enjoying the much-improved space.
