So Kilworth’s Fund Raising Expert was at it again recently. He put his body on the line at a White Collar Boxing event to try to raise funds for Cancer Research. After only eight weeks of specialist training Will took to the ring in a three round boxing event, where all funds raised went to Charity.
We are so pleased (and relieved) to report that he came through fairly, unscathed with a bit of a black eye and a nosebleed (some faired much worse on the night) and he raised more than £2,000.00, with the generosity and support of friends, family, business contacts and valued customers.
His Bout took place at the Leicester Tigers Stadium and his fight it’s self was the best and tightest of the night. After taking a few strong hits in Round 1, which his opponent edged he came out swinging and dominated Round 2.
With nothing between them in Round 3 the judges called it a draw (the only one of the 27 bouts of the night to finish tied) and they left the ring to a standing ovation all around. Will has decided that his next fundraising venture will be a little less confrontational, but what a great effort this was and we are all extremely proud of his efforts for a great cause.
