We’re excited to announce the completion of a significant expansion project here at Kilworth Interiors! We’ve recently installed a brand new mezzanine floor in one of our warehouses, adding a substantial 150 square meters of valuable storage space.
This expansion comes at a crucial time for us. 2024 was a year of significant growth for our “from stock” side of the business, and with new product lines and increasing specific orders for our customers on the horizon for 2025, we recognised the need to increase our storage capacity by adding a brand new upper level to one of our three warehouses.
Meeting our Customers’ Needs
The installation process involved a collaborative effort across our team. We diligently cleared the existing warehouse space before the holiday break, ensuring a smooth and efficient installation. Now, with the mezzanine floor in place, we’ve meticulously re-stocked the warehouse, optimising our inventory management and ensuring we can continue to meet the evolving demands of our customers.
This expansion project is a testament to our commitment to continuous improvement and our dedication to providing the best possible service to our valued clients. With the re-set now completed, we are blessed with significantly more space to run stock ranges, projects and rolling refurbishments for the foreseeable future.
Enhancing our Operations
We look forward to utilising this additional space to further enhance our operations and continue to exceed expectations, however, the question of ‘is there ever enough space?’ may raise its head once again, so perhaps we’ll be reconsidering the layout of our other two warehouses in the future…
