Our team at Kilworth would like to introduce you to our newest friend, Harrison Brailsford. Harrison is an adorable chap, who is one of the bravest people I have ever met. He was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer ‘Ewing Sarcoma’ when he was very young and has subsequently lived through a very challenging childhood, but with immense support from his family, he still smiles with a twinkle in his eye and tackles the challenges head on.
During 2016 Harrison and his family raised money themselves and went to America to receive a rare treatment for his illness and in December he received the ‘all clear’ and had a great Christmas with his family, with a weight lifted from their shoulders. Tragically, in the middle of January this year after going back to hospital, Harrison and his family were dealt the devastating news that the cancer was back and they have been living through the turmoil of emotions, illness, chemo and family heartache ever since.
We are so grateful to be able to support Harrison and his family with their challenges and are blessed to have had the chance to meet this amazing and brave little man.
