We have partnered with a neighbouring company of our Kilworth Interiors Head Office who collect donated goods and equipment and arrange for these to be transported to areas around the world where civilians are living in challenging conditions. The goods are taken to countries where much needed aid is a daily occurrence, and we couldn’t wait to join them on this important venture.
Giving New Life to Materials
We value sustainable practices and we understand both our social and environmental responsibility to minimise our waste. In our drive to recycle and reuse, or redirect products and waste where we can, we have formed a partnership, gifting excess stock and equipment, recyclable or reusable products, as well as carpet and vinyl part rolls and offcuts to those who can use these products to enhance the quality of lives in these challenges areas.
Supporting Hospitals, Schools and Refuges
All our product donations are to be given to schools, hospitals and refuges in areas that consistently require aid. In countries such as Syria, this is greatly needed to support adult and child welfare on a daily basis. We have already gifted hospital mattresses and medical equipment to the largest medical centre in Northwest Syria to enhance their levels of patient care.
Playing Our Part
As a long-standing and recognised member of the Recofloor vinyl take-back scheme, we understand the amazing things that can be accomplished by donating materials and equipment.
This latest opportunity to form an alliance to better utilise these excesses and remove the need for unnecessary addition to UK landfill gives us a great deal of pleasure. It supports our belief in trying to focus as much as we can on being a more waste efficient operation.
